Andrew is the Virginia-born son to a naval officer father and elementary teacher mother, and along with three siblings was raised in the Northeast, Deep South, and Midwest, all before striking out alone on the evening of his 25th birthday to chase adventures out West. Though his years in Los Angeles outnumber other places he's lived, his roots are more genuinely Hoosier than Californian, and they've sprouted an independent, patriotic, bareknuckle capitalist who values individualism and self-reliance above most everything else.

Educated as an architect, Andrew spent his first decade in Los Angeles practicing architecture, and his second decade striking out on even greater adventures: getting married, starting a family, and helping raise two children, all amidst launching and growing a successful architectural specifications consulting practice. His life blossomed.

2015 brought the start of Andrew's third decade in California, and along with it the evening of his 45th birthday, when he struck out alone yet again, this time on possibly his most daring and authentic adventure to date: a trek to becoming the designer, artist, and author he always wanted to be.
